A little history
Crosslake Community Charter School expanded from its original kindergarten - 8th grade seat-based model to include 9-12th grade students at the request of former and current families. In order to meet the needs of potential students, the school board decided to offer a hybrid online model in order to give students the flexibility they may need in order to pursue personal activities as well as completing the required courses to receive their high school diploma. While students need to be motivated, hard-working, and dedicated to the online model, the adults surround them with encouragement, academic assistance, and support in an effort to ensure that no student falls through the cracks. For fall 2017, students in 7th and 8th grade can now enroll in the online program. Additionally, we now employ our own teachers to expand the support and encouragement that we provide to students.
